I've seen Shiny Brite Mid Century plain round ornaments covered in plastic fishnet mesh, but I've never come across them in this double bulb hourglass shape before. There are three in the original box in gold, red, and blue. The late 1960s box is marked Max Eckardt and American Made.

The silvered glass ornaments are about 5 inches high. They were made by inverting the pike of a small round silvered ornament into the pike of a larger diamond or rhombus shape, then wrapping with the white netting. The gold ornament has a small chip on the bottom piece's pike edge (it displays and hangs just fine). Otherwise all three ornaments are in excellent condition. The box has mild age discoloration and a torn cellophane window.
