The label inside this 1960s beaded satin evening bag reads "Mister Ernest Handbags Inc. Made in Hong Kong". The background fabric is a very silky off-white padded satin, decorated with closely spaced starbursts of pearly iridescent white seed beads. Attached to the goldtone frame is a short chain (6 inch drop) that tucks inside when you want to convert the bag to a clutch. The beading is all intact, but there's a thin dark perfume drip stain just below the upper frame edge on one side (second photo), and some light staining on the interior lining as shown. About 7 inches wide by 5-1/2" high not including chain.
