This pretty mercury silvered blown glass indented diorama Christmas ornament was made in 1950s West Germany. Inside the concave recess in the glass is a hard plastic dimensional scene of green pine trees and red mushrooms. The back wall of the ornament center is painted light sky blue. About 2-1/2 inches high, the ornament is in excellent vintage condition, the back still shiny with mirror-like reflection.
