This 1950s West Germany red hot air balloon shape glass Christmas ornament was wire wrapped at one time. The crinkled bullion wire has come undone but is still present. It's 5-1/2 inches high and has a chenille Santa figure with spun cotton face attached to the top of the lower bulb. There are a few small scratches to the red finish from contact with the wire, otherwise the ornament is in very good vintage condition with no chips or breaks. The buyer can choose whether to re-wrap the wires or remove them.
