This ceramic salad serving set was made in the 1950s to early 1960s by Nasco of Japan as part of their Del Coronado line. Included are an 11-1/4 by 3 inch salad bowl, eight 7-1/4" plates, salt and pepper shakers, oil and vinegar cruets with cork lined stoppers, and wood salad fork and spoon. Each item is decorated with colorful raised hand painted vegetables - even the fork and spoon have painted veggies at the tips.
Some of the pieces have foil labels which read "Del Coronado, Nasco Japan". The salt and pepper shakers each have a tiny fleabite or glaze skip on the rims, and the wooden fork and spoon are dark from age and use. One plate has a tiny pinpoint fleabite on the rim. Everything else is in excellent condition with no damage.
