This pretty blue and white porcelain collector plate features a serene woodland scene of two deer - a mother doe and her fawn in a clearing with sunlight streaming down on them through the branches of the trees. At the bottom of the plate is printed Mother's Day 1971. The back is marked with a castle and crown logo "Royale Blue Winter China, Made In Germany, Limited Edition Series".

The plate measures 7-5/8" diameter and has two holes at the back ring for hanging. It's in excellent condition with no damage. Wouldn't it make a thoughtful Mother's Day gift, especially if either of you were born in 1971?
