This 1950s three piece silver plated round casserole server was made in the USA by Sheffield Silver Company of Brooklyn New York. The ringed glass dish insert is GlasBake brand by McKee and measures 9-3/4" across the rim by 2-1/2 inches deep. The pierced or reticulated cradle is a little over 13 inches wide across the double handles and is 3" high from the three feet to the rim edge. The domed lid has a pineapple finial.
All three pieces are in excellent condition. The glass insert is pristine with original gloss, apparently never used. The cradle and lid are clean and shiny with no scratches or dents, though if you look really hard and close, you'll see a few tiny hair-fine marks around the lid edges, probably from storage.
