This large size lidded ceramic beer stein was produced in Brazil by Ceramarte for Avon in 1994. Titled Father Christmas, it depicts an old style Santa Claus with toys on one side, and a scene with Santa, children and their mother, and a Christmas tree in the background on the opposite side. The entire stein is richly embossed in high relief with Victorian style people, reindeer driven sleighs, snowflakes, and more. Underneath the pewter lid frame is the phrase "Happy Christmas to All and to All a Good Night". The 9-1/2 inch high stein is in excellent condition with no wear, damage, or signs of use.
