This 1930s transferware child's feeding dish features a scene of Little Red Riding Hood encountering the wolf in the woods. The 7-1/2 inch shallow bowl or welled plate is encased in a metal holder with side handles and stoppered spout, allowing Mama to fill the dish with hot water to keep baby's food warm. The transfer decoration is colorful and in excellent condition, with no fading, scratches, or damage. The only issue is a tight 3/4 inch craze line or hairline extending from the rim at about the 1 o'clock position in the first photo. There are no markings to indicate the maker or country of origin.
