These three 2-1/2 inch high silvered glass Christmas ornaments are beautiful with hand painted roses, rosebuds, and leaves in pink, blue, and green. You'll find one or two occasionally, rarely more than a couple, nestled in a box of older American made glass ornaments. I'm not sure who made them, but they apparently stopped being produced by the early 1940s, no doubt because they were so labor intensive to produce. They're somewhat scarce for USA made ornaments of this era and it's hard to gather a full set of them.

The ornaments have no chips or breaks and are still reflective with paint intact. They have some spotting from deterioration of the inner mercury silvering over the years, mainly at the bottoms and backs. The metal caps are marked "Made in U.S. of A.". The word "of" was dropped from this mark by the end of World War II.
