A pair of clip-on bird silvered glass Christmas ornaments, made in 1950s West Germany. One is a generic songbird, the other is a cockatiel, both decorated in dark green and brick red. The birds are mounted on a tin clip and have single coiled spring legs which allows them to flutter or tremble on the Christmas tree branch at the slightest movement. They're about 5 inches long to the ends of their spun glass fiber tails and are in very good vintage condition with no chips or damage.
