This Machine Age style brown enameled steel gooseneck desk drafting lamp was made by Art Specialty Company of Chicago in the 1950s. It has a sturdy stepped pedestal base with a 10 inch flexible gooseneck. The squared-off shade holds two fluorescent tubes and is 18 inches wide with the on/off button on top. It has a 9 foot long flat brown heavy duty cord with 3-prong non-polarized rubber plug. The lamp works well (both tubes light up brightly with no flickering) and is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips, corrosion, or damage to the enamel finish.
