This rare free blown silvered glass figural Christmas ornament was made in Germany well over 100 years ago. It's in the shape of a musical lyre, with three super thin, delicate glass "strings" rising from the center (imagine the skill and patience the glass blower needed to do that). The ornament is about 3-3/4 inches high by 2-1/2" wide. There is some typical wear to the green gel finish, consistent with a very long life. No chips, cracks, or other damage.
