This pretty Mid Century hanging glass lamp is done in the Victorian Gone With The Wind manner, styled after a hurricane oil lamp. The big ruffled shade and lower globe are decorated with hand painted white roses, blue forget-me-nots, and green leaves on sponged pale yellow. The brass fittings have a polished satin finish, and 9 large double drop crystal prisms hang from the reticulated brass shade fitter. The lamp itself is about 22 inches high from the top of the shade to the bottom brass finial, not including the chains.

The lamp itself is in excellent condition with no damage or wear, but it needs to be rewired. The cord has been (badly) repaired in two places, one near the plug and the other shown in the last picture. There's plenty of textured brass swag chain, more than 6 feet, plus an additional 2 feet each of three smaller link chains that come together above the shade.
