Five vintage appliqued and hand embroidered cotton muslin kitchen or dish towels. They feature Sunbonnet Sue or a Sunbonnet Baby doing her daily chores. They're labeled Wash Day, Gardening Day, Iron Day, Market Day, and Sunday. In addition to the colorful embroidery, the bonnet brims and dress ruffles have color coordinated appliqued cotton solids and calico prints.

The stitching is positioned in one corner of each towel and is skillfully done with no loose or pulled stitches. The towels measure between 28 and 30 inches square and are clean and pressed (though not recently). The Sunday towel has three faint, very small rust like spots. The Market towel has a single small pale rust spot on the selvedge edge. None interfere with the hand stitched areas. There are no other stains or spots.
