This vintage clear pressed glass fork and spoon salad serving set has a diamond and starburst design on the handles. Each utensil is 9-3/4 inches long and in good condition with no chips, flakes, or other damage. The spoon does have a couple of tiny rub marks on the heel back from table wear.
Despite being identified all over the internet as Anchor Hocking's Wexford or occasionally having been made by Fostoria, they are neither. Wexford salad sets (actually all Hocking sets) came with plastic utensils. No glass utensils appear in any of my Anchor Hocking catalogs and books. And finally, I found a set just like this one for sale in their original unmarked brown box which appears to be far older than 1967, which was when the Wexford pattern was introduced.
