This circa 1940 hand crocheted beret will fit both adults and younger girls. It's shown on an adult size head mannequin. Made of red wood yarn in shell and half-crochet seed stitch, it has embroidered wool flowers at the top in yellow and aqua with green leaves. The crown is about 6 inches diameter with a 2 inch shell band (it stretches of course). The hat is in excellent condition with no damage, stains, or loose/broken stitches.
