This 1940s small footed creamer and covered sugar set was made by Kingwood China Company. They're decorated on both sides with the classic Fragonard style Colonial romantic courting couple scene, and trimmed with lots of lots of real 22k gold (this company invented the Weeping Gold ceramic decoration). Considered a tea size or miniature set (but not toy or dollhouse), the creamer is just over 2-1/2" high, the sugar is about 4 inches wide across the handles. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no damage or wear to the decals or gold trim.
