This elaborate porcelain china bird on tree figurine was made by Cordey China of Philadelphia in the 1940s. It's just under 9 inches tall. The yellow bird at the top is poised for flight. Applied pink flowers and green leaves decorate the trunk, with gold gilt trim at the base. It was very well cared for, with no chips, cracks, scratches or damage. It would have had a foil Cordey sticker which is no longer present. The underside is marked 6023 (stock number) and 17 (decorator identifier).
