This small assortment of Christmas stockings came in an estate box of holiday decorations dating from the 1950s and 1960s, all from the same family. Two are the old fashioned 1950s long red cotton knit traditional stockings, over 22 inches long. Both have Merry Christmas printed in green on the upper white cuffs. One has the initials FF in ink at one corner, the other has the name John in glitter paint script below the cuff.

Next is a 1960s decorated felt stocking with a big puffy bell and holly. The top and bottom have glittered pine pine boughs on scalloped red felt trim. It's about 18 inches long, marked Made in Japan at the back, and in good condition. The classic flannel red and white stocking with jingle bells is about 17 inches long. The 9 inch mesh stocking once held little dime store toys and candy.
