A pair of antique hand made tinsel and paper scrap Christmas ornaments featuring Belsnickel type Santas, plus a pair of bonus tinsel ornaments. Both of the Santa ornaments are framed in wired gold feather tinsel ovals. The larger one is about 4-3/4 inches high, with the embossed red coat Santa figure floating in a cloud of spun glass angel hair which is actually hand sewn onto the ornament at the back. The green coat Santa with tree and toys ornament is 3-1/2" high. Both are in very good condition with no damage to the fragile German scraps.

The other two bonus ornaments are a tinsel star with lacquered red holly berries, about 6" diameter, and a 4 inch foil cross in wired tinsel ornament which is more recent than the others, perhaps dating to the 1930s or 1940s.
