This antique Persian style brass tray is just under 8-1/4 by 16 inches handle to handle. It has an elaborate all-over engraved scene of two ancient hunters with spears, two deer-like animal, and an oversize bird amid a jungle of leaves, grasses, and flowers. The rim is decorated with a bird and flowers border. The backs of both handles are marked as shown in the last picture. It's too worn for me to make out except for the number 21.

The tray has a dark, original patina. There are some light colored spots that will disappear if you clean or polish it, but I'll leave that decision to the buyer. I used artificial lighting with flash in the first photo to better show the design detail. The other pictures better show the actual coloring.
