This is a 1950s salesman's sample book for imprinted Christmas greeting cards. The cards were made in the USA by Artistic Card Company, though the sample book doesn't state the company's name - you have to look on the back of the cards. The sample booklets were obtained by responding to an advertisement in the back of a magazine. The sales person (mostly pre-teen kids) would take the sample book door to door trying to obtain orders for boxes of the cards.

The heavy paper display folds out into six 10 by 4 inch sections, each displaying a different 3-1/2 by 6-1/2 inch holiday card. The first card is mounted so you can open it up to see the greeting and inside illustrations. The sample booklet is in excellent condition with no tears or writing and would make a terrific seasonal mantle display.
