A very pretty Nashco 1940s tole painted tray with colorful hand painted flowers on cream. The flowers are dark pink, red, blue, and gold with green leaves on creamy off-white with a faint blond wood grain. Gold scrolls and comma-stroke leaves decorated the gently scalloped raised rim. The tray measures 17-1/4 by 14-1/4 inches.
There are some pindot flecks of wear to the raised painted flowers and some shallow diagonal scratches at the left side of the flowers. The back has table wear, a strip of old white cloth tape and remnants of a foil Nashco label. There are no dents or dings.
