These Mid Century clip-on copper earrings were made for Bell Trading Post in Albuquerque New Mexico. The company began as a real trading post in the 1930s, where Native American workers produced jewelry onsite. By the 1950s Bell was wholesaling their jewelry to gift and souvenir shops nationwide.
The 1-1/4 inch earrings are in the shape of textured feathers or leaves. At one end the stem coils to encircle a copper dome. They are marked Copper By Bell with a trading post sign logo. They could use a mild polishing, otherwise in very good condition.
