This Delft style blue and white wall plate or charger features a grizzled, weathered face old fisherman, a common subject in classic fine art. The 11-3/8 inch diameter plate has hanging holes on the back and is marked Boch La Louviere Delfts. It's a Mid Century mark for Boch Freres Keramis of Belgium. The plate is in excellent condition with no damage or crazing.
