This Mid Century stainless steel bread box was made by Lincoln BeautyWare. It has a glossy shaded milk chocolate brown finish with a wood cutting board behind the fold-down hinged front cover, and a removable stainless steel shelf inside. The shelf and back are vented to allow air circulation.
The breadbox measures 17 inches wide by 9-3/4" high and is about 11" deep front to back. The front is in very good condition with only minor wear and scuffing. The right side has some corrosion, resulting from long-term storage next to hot stove burners. The right top has a little heat corrosion as well - looks like someone stuck a hot pan or casserole there. The bread box also has a shallow, minor crease near the top center behind the handle. If you don't like the color, there are some great videos and articles online showing how easy it is to finish an old breadbox just like this one.
