This is the scarce ice bucket in the Paden City Glass Company's Art Deco Emerald Glo line of serveware from the 1940s. The goldtone metal holder and tongs were made by National Silver especially for Paden City. When the company went out of business, Fenton took over manufacture of some pieces, but the engraved starburst decoration around the rims was made only by Paden City.
The glass ice bowl is 5-3/4" diameter by 3-1/4 inches deep. The holder with ribbed green glass base is 9-1/2 inches to the top of the combination handle and tongs hanger. All three pieces are in pristine condition with no spotting, tarnish, scratches, nicks, or chips to either the brass pieces or the glass bowl.
