An authentic, very well preserved German medium green glass Christmas ornament, made in Germany in the late 1800s to early 1900s. It's a grape cluster shape, 4-3/4 inches high (not including the cap) with a circumference around the shoulder of 10-5/8 inches.

Kugels are colored within the glass, not painted or finished on the outside, and the mercury silvering is on the inside. The interior silvering randomly lightens the green color of the glass to give a natural shading at the high points. The 8-lobe and ball brass cap is securely attached and does not slide. There are no scratches, no bubble flaws in the glass, no damage. For being well over 100 years old, the kugel is in wonderful condition.
