This early 1960s Lefton porcelain flower girl figurine was part of their Marika's Originals line, which were produced as competition to Josef Originals girl figurines. The 5 inch auburn haired girl wears a long, flouncy gold-sponged yellow dress with big bow streamers flowing out from her shoulders. Applied pink forget-me-not flowers dot the front of her dress, and she holds a basket of them in one hand with the other hand raised above it. A matching pink flower is in her hair.
There is a chip to lower edge of the dress at the back. One of the pink basket flowers has a sliver nick underneath the edge of one petal, visible at or below eye level but not from above. Price reflects condition.
