This colorful figural fish pottery planter in pink, black, green, and coral was made by American Bisque in the 1940s. My AB book calls it a sailfish but it looks more like a marlin to me (the planter is shown on the cover page of Mary Jane Giacomini's American Bisque Collector Guide). The planter measures 8 inches high by 10-1/4 inches wide and is in excellent condition with no damage or crazing.
