This Mid Century West Germany glass Christmas ornament has the same type of foil and glass angel figure inside as those found in late 1950s and early 1960s Resl Lenz ornaments. The clear glass teardrop shape dome ornament is 5-1/2 inches high, wrapped in crinkly gold bullion wire. The angel figure has patterned gold foil wings and holds a song book. Her head is a small silver mercury glass ball ornament. In excellent vintage condition with no damage.
