This charming old Christmas display decoration features a 1930s cotton batting snowsuit child riding a mica glittered sleigh or sled. It's been mounted on a Plexiglass platform with a silver celluloid reindeer and gold cord reins. I believe the sleigh figure is older than the reindeer, which would have been added at a later time. I think you could safely remove the sled from the plastic with an exacto knife - the glue is just on the edges of the runners and it's pretty thin.
The display is 6-5/8 inches long overall. The sled portion, which was likely a candy container, is 3-3/8" long by 3-3/4 inches high. It's in good vintage condition with a little age discoloration but no damage.
