This handsome Mid Century wall clock is dated 1967 and was made by Syroco (Syracuse Ornamental Company). It's made of hard plastic but has a carved, woodgrain appearance. The top and bottom are swooped arch shape with the texture of distressed antique wood moulding. Between the arches is an openwork florentine panel of ornate carved effect leaves, bands, and scrolls in a gold gilt finish. The clock face is encircled with faux brass roping.
The clock measures 20 inches high by 17" wide. It takes a size D battery which I don't have, so I can't verify how well it keeps time. There is no corrosion, wear, or damage to the movement, and no damage to the clock or frame. Note: The pictures were taken at an angle and from the side to avoid reflections and glare on the clock face.
