This beautiful ruffled low centerpiece bowl or dish is made of thick solid hand wrought brass with 7 raised puffy bubbles around the rim. It sits on three brass feet and has an applied cast brass leaf decoration around the rim. It measures 13-1/4" diameter by 3 inches high.

There are no dents or notable scratches but the center of the dish has what appear to be water spots. They are not discolored and only affect the lacquered finish, not the underlying metal. If I were going to keep the bowl I'd remove the lacquer coating. The underside is signed A. Lara Mexico with an eagle in oval mark. The bowl's super shiny, bright finish and slight hammered texture made it a monster to photograph - it's prettier in person.
