A matched set of vintage glazed pottery planters in the form of a Dutch boy and girl. The figures are about 6 inches tall, standing in front of the planters which are shaped like woven straw baskets banded in green and yellow. They are colorful and quite attractive with skillfully painted expressive faces.

The planters are in excellent condition. The high gloss glaze has no crazing and the planters have no signs of sediment or water stains. No chips, scratches, cracks, or other issues and the paint is perfect. The bottoms are unmarked. I suspect they are American made circa 1940s.
