A very nice, excellent quality Ator straight or cut throat style rounded point razor made in the late 1800s Germany by Ern. The blade is 3 inches long by 11/16" wide. Overall length when closed is 6-3/8 inches. The scales are black celluloid, embossed ATOR on one side. The tang is marked Ator Reg'd on one side, the other side reads "G.M. 142302 Made In Germany Ern".

The razor is in excellent condition. The blade has no rust or pitting and is not nicked. There are no chips, cracks, or damage though it likely needs to be honed and cleaned for shaving use. The black leatherette paper covering of the box is so worn I can only read the words Admiral and Fully Warranted. It may or may not be original to the razor - sometimes the boxes bore the retailers name, not the manufacturer, but it's the one it came in. Though surface worn, the box is intact with no splits or tears.
