This antique Limoges hexagonal porcelain mug has a pearly luster finish with a hand painted decoration of Dutch children. One side features a boy walking with patched pants and hands in pockets. The other side depicts a boy sitting on a bench, patting the seat next to him in an effort to entice a nearby Dutch girl. Two windmills are visible in the background.
The mug is 5-1/2 inches high by 3-1/2" diameter at the rim. The base is 4-1/2 inches across. Stamped mark on the underside reads "La Seynie Limoges, P and P, France". There is wear to the gold trim on the handle as shown. No damage.
