This elegant crystal bowl is in the Radiance pattern, produced by New Martinsville Glass from 1936 to 1939. Technically it's a Depression glass pattern, though most collectors consider it to be in the elegant glass category.
The bowl has eight flared panels that fan out and crimp inward. The rim has pointed but not sharp scallops. The raised Radiance jeweled bead and teardrop pattern is on the outside around the bottom and dividing the panels. Actual measurements are 12-1/4" diameter by a little over 3-3/4 inches high. There are a few shallow, tiny marks in the bottom of the bowl from utensil use, no damage or cloudiness.
