This rare 10-1/2 inch Wallace Air Force Plant 78 dinner plate can be seen in the Military China section of Barbara Conroy's Restaurant China identification book, Volume 1. The plates were produced in 1959 for use at then-new Air Force Plant 78 in Utah, where Thiokol built an adjacent facility for missile testing. That would explain the minuteman logo at the top of the plate.
Big and very heavy, the plate is off-white with an airbrushed medium blue rim, the Minuteman logo and Air Force Plant 78 in black near the top. Marked on the back Wallace China, California U.S.A. with a 1959 date code. Condition is excellent, possibly never used - no scratches, stains or utensil marks, still bright and glossy. I have three identical plates available. If ordering more than one, shipping calculator may be too high. I'll refund any shipping overcharge.
