Two large and dramatic Averill floral prints from the 1940s, framed under glass. The prints are 14 by 17 inches, the frames are a little over 15-1/2 by 18-1/2 inches. One has a bouquet of big pink and red roses with other flowers in white and pale purple. The other is a spray of white peonies (I think) with red poppies, ferns, and other flowers. Both have a parchment-like pale khaki green background.
The prints are signed Averill but there is no printer information or other markings. The nice wooden frames have a carved feather scroll decoration in white on gold. Both prints and frames are in excellent condition, as is the glass. Piano wire is strung across the backs for hanging. The yellowish lighting and lines in the photos are just from shadows and glare, they are not present in the prints. Price is for the pair.
