This late 1960s to early 1970s stainless steel Sunbeam Multi-Cooker electric frypan is shiny stainless steel with a vented high dome aluminum lid. The cooking surface is just under 12 inches square by 2" deep. The lid gives you another 3 inches in height. The heat control unit goes from "warm" (usually 150 degrees) up to 420 degrees. The pan is clean and shiny inside and out with no scratches or damage other than very faint, shallow marks from cleaning and utensil use. The red heat indicator light on the control still lights up and the pan heats up well. Everyone should have an electric skillet or cooker for those times when your stove burners just aren't enough when cooking a big meal. Vintage USA made Sunbeam appliances are a good choice - they were well made and built to last.
