The crackled glaze on this attractive Italian glazed terra cotta pottery Christmas plate gives it a lovely mosaic appearance. Rimmed in gold, it measures 7-1/2 inches diameter and depicts a couple walking along a snowy road with pine trees, wood fence, log buildings, and mountain peaks in the distance. The back has a cord wall hanger and reads "Christmas card by V. Tiziano, hand etched and painted in Italy by Veneto Flair 1977. This plate is one of a limited edition of 5000 pieces, number 948". In excellent condition. The non-Christmasy winter theme makes it suitable for year round display.
