This glass mixing bowl was made by Federal Glass Company in the 1930s in their Golden Glow color. At 9-3/4" diameter by 4-1/4 inches deep, it was the largest in a set of four nested bowls. It's in good condition for a near-90 year old glass kitchen bowl, with stir marks inside and some rub or contact wear on the raised square bottom with one corner having mild roughness - no chips or cracks.

These Federal bowls are often confused with Hazel Atlas, likely due to the fact that until very recently, Replacements had them misidentified as Hazel Atlas, Federal pattern. In Weatherman's Depression Glass Volume II, there is a 1930s Federal Glass catalog reprint showing this exact bowl. Hazel Atlas did make mixing bowls that were similar, but with wider ribs, and not in gold or yellow, per Gene Florence's Hazel Atlas Glass book.
