This pair of mica glittered paper mache composition bird Christmas ornaments dates to the 1950s. The 3-3/4 inch long blue bird was made in Japan. He has a cotton-mounted bobble type head and googly wiggle eyes. The black and gold mica bird was made in West Germany. He's 3-1/4" long with a fatter body. This bird has a removable head, doubling as a candy container. Both have gold cord hangers and are in good vintage condition.
