This 1970s Corning Ware covered microwave browning dish was a special order from General Electric as a premium when purchasing one of their microwave ovens. What makes it suitable for microwave use is the special coating on the underside which contains embedded metal particles.
The dish comfortably holds one quart, measuring 10-1/2 (including handles) by 8-1/2 by 2-1/4 inches high, not including the clear Pyrex lid. The two non-handled sides are decorated with an EKG style or radio wave logo in blue. The casserole is clean and in perfect condition. The underside lid edge has a little mold seam roughness but no damage.
