This uranium green depression glass cookie jar is in the Royal Lace pattern from Hazel Atlas, produced from 1934 to 1941. The jar is 7-1/2" high to the top of the lid finial by 6 inches diameter at the shoulder. The raised design on the jar bottom is not as well defined and crisp as the pattern on the lid. In researching this cookie jar, I found that to be the case with all of them. There is a smooth chip on the lid rim.

Royal Lace has been reproduced in cobalt blue but I can't find any reference to cookie jar repros in green. Regardless, this jar is authentic - it has a round plunger mark on the bottom, which the newly made versions do not have, and it glows under black light.
