This big deep welled oval platter is called the oval roaster in the Percussion Temper-Ware dinnerware pattern by Lenox. Introduced in the mid 1970s, Percussion is an almost masculine pattern on stoneware type china - off-white with beige speckles and a black off-rim stripe. The handles are decorated with sandy-textured black on brown horizontal lines.

The roaster measures just over 15 by 10 inches including handles and is 1-1/2 inches deep. It's in excellent condition with no damage.
