This lovely 1950s Southern Belle or Colonial style lady figurine typically sat on a lady's vanity and held tubes of lipstick at the base of her dress. The figurine is 6 inches high, wearing a long yellow dress with polka dots and a rust colored fading to white bodice with peplum. Her brunette hair is in a ponytail and her extended hands are raised below her neck.

The original label is missing but the book Kitchen, Bath & Beyond shows this same lipstick lady identified as being made by Commodore of Japan. There is an underglaze manufacturing flaw at the upper rim of one lipstick loop. The pottery has a scratch or rub mark in this area that is glazed over. The edge of one hand has a tiny fleabite chip along the little finger.
