A charming, kitschy 1950s figural porcelain ceramic hourglass egg timer depicting a mischievous pixie elf in a Peter Pan suit leaning against a stump. About 5-1/4 inches tall, it has an elastic cord holding the glass timer in place and a metal clamp to hold a recipe card at the top of the log. The original foil Enesco Japan label is on the underside. The timer was part of a series of "Helpful Kitchen Pixie" kitchenware.

The timer is in excellent condition other than some shelf wear on the unglazed bottom and wear to the label. The elastic should be replaced, or a least re-tied - it's lost some stretch over the years. Any white spots in the pictures are from glare. Just a super piece for the pixie or elf collector!
